Do not build a big shed. That was the advice sports facility designer Dan Meis gave to a task force that is exploring ideas for an arena and entertainment center in Sacramento. Meis, who designed Los Angeles’ Staples Center, is on Mayor Kevin Johnson’s 12-member voluntary “Sacramento First” task force, which includes real estate, finance and communications executives.
