Several restaurants in the area have specials to entice your palate on New Year's Eve. Brew It Up, 801 14th St., is offering a four-course pre-fixed menu for only $30. This includes your choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert. The menu includes some regular favorites as well as new items to satisfy your hunger. Mulligatawny is an excellent soup that warms you from the inside. While watching Mayor Kevin Johnson speak in clear but emotive language on television, it is clear he is ready to start his new position with a full head of steam. With the American flag draped behind him he said, "We did it, I'm ready and I know you are too, and that's what it's going to need to take place.
