Dad's Kitchen on Freeport Blvd. has experienced a few transitions over the last couple of years. Now, at the hands of new co-owners Christine Collins and Julio Peix, the restaurant is preparing for its greatest modification yet. Plans are to unveil the establishment under it new management April 1. Collins, owner of Deep Art and Yoga at the corner of 21 and H for the last five years, has a new vision for the eatery where she has been a longtime patron. Being a regular of the breakfast crowd, Collins said she appreciates the existing menu. However, she would like to infuse her holistic lifestyle by changing the quality of the ingredients.
