Selected artists will be featured at our Vans shoes show!

Details: All artists who are selected will restyle a pair of Vans white canvass shoes and be entered to win awards and prizes for the most artistically restyled pair of Vans. Local media will also feature top artists in a special news story. This is your chance to be discovered!!

How to submit: Email 2 digital samples of your art and/or a sketch of how you would restyle a pair of white canvass Vans shoes. (If your idea is accepted we will provide the shoes and give you a month to artistically redesign them for our Art Show) Also include your contact info.

Qualifications: 21 years and under

Submission Due date: July 14, 2009
Artists Notified: July 16, 20009
Mandatory Orientation: July 18, 2009

Art Show: August 8, 2009

*Restyled Vans shoes will be sold and all proceeds will benefit the opening of Vibe www.thevibefoundation.org, a Youth Lounge in Downtown Sac. Shoes that do not sell will be donated to local foster care youth.
