Crossing guards for 2nd Saturday?

Hi Folks,

Our Midtown Sac PD Captain, Dana Matthes, is looking for a few good people to do crossing guard duty on 2nd Saturday. If you've got the urge to help out, or know someone who might, please give her a call at 808-4511. They have a training program to get you all ready.

Time is short and we don't have any volunteers yet!

Please help if you can,

Sad to hear nobody has stepped up...I posted a story on this last week:

Has MBA considered hiring crossing guards? A lot of folks out there these days could use the money, even if it's just one day a month.

I agree with both things you said, William. It is sad that no one has stepped up and I'm sure that even for a very small amount of pay people would be willing to step up.

Ditto- The Downtown Partnership Guides are paid staff and they rock!! It's only a matter of time before Midtown needs the same level of services.
