A man was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment after allegedly leaving his 2-year-old daughter in a car for more than an hour while he was inside a casino really early Wednesday morning.

At 1:41 a.m., on the 6000 block of Stockton Boulevard, police officers were hailed by a security guard who noticed movement in a parked vehicle in the area. Upon investigation, police found a girl, 2, unharmed, who'd apparently been left in the vehicle for more than an hour.

Her father, Joseph Paiva, 25, was found at a nearby business – the Lotus Casino – and arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment. The girl was placed into the custody of child protective services.

Well, they probably wouldn't let the baby into the casino. He used his 1/2-scale wit and decided to leave the baby in the car.

Bad parenting, to be sure.

Haha. I say the same thing about people's blinged out rides--wow, it's a good thing they've got such a solid savings account, great cash flow, diversified 401k, and robust insurance that now they can go out and have a little fun!

Out with his daughter at 1:41 a.m? Huh. Smart man. And the mother? Yes another fine example of god's perfect plan of biological-only parenting. What inconveniences, these 2-year olds are to our glamorous Vegas lifestyle. She should have kept still.
