The Dutch Shepherd is available in three varieties: long-haired (long, straight, flat and harsh), short-haired (fine and dense) and wire-haired (medium duration and wiry). display dogs should not display much bright on their chest and feet. The feet are relatively small and do not have dewclaws. The toes are properly arched. The nails and pads are black. Protective head of hair grows between the toes. The tail is slightly curved. The chest and belly are deep and never as well drawn up. The eyes are dim and slightly slanting and the relatively small ears are stiffly erect. The muzzle is long and the teeth are strong and regular. your body is muscular and symmetrical. The short-haired wide range is very widespread in Holland, while the wire-haired is less common and the long-haired is very rare.Although the coat types vary, the color possibilities remain identical for each: various shades of brindle, such as gray, yellow, silver, red or gold brindle, and blue.Dogs-Dog information|Dutch Shepherd

Good PR for our officers. I wouldn't have thought to go to a public presentation for K9...this might be more fun than the annual football game between firefighters/policemen.

I have fond memories of the K-9 cop and his partner coming to our elementary school and teaching us good stuff like bike safety and how to stay safe walking home from school. The K-9 cops are awesome good will ambassadors for the Department as are the CHP horse cops in Capitol Park.

K9 dogs are absolutely amazing. They risk their lives everyday for their police officer partners and expect nothing in return but an ear scratch. This article gave a great peek into the lives of officers and their four-legged partners.
