October 10, 2011 – Quick Quack Car Wash, a Sacramento-based company with six express car washes in the area is offering a one thousand dollar reward for information leading to the return of “Quackals,” a professional mascot costume in the shape of a large yellow duck.

The “duck suit” was stolen out of a white minivan belonging to Kandi Baker, the performer who brings Quackals to life. The minivan was broken into as it was parked in downtown Sacramento on Front Street near O Street on Saturday at approximately 6:00 pm. A police report was filed.

“This is a sad day for us,” said Jason Johnson, President of Quick Quack Car Wash. “It is hard to believe someone would steal our beloved duck. We are assuming that it was just a prank by someone desperate for a Halloween costume and we are asking for the help of our customers and the general public to find Quackals and return him to us. We have no desire to press charges if we can just get him back.”

Quick Quack is asking that any information regarding the location of the “duck suit” be reported to 916-971-3274 or info@dontdrivedirty.com or any Quick Quack Car Wash location. Any verified information leading to his return will result in a one thousand dollar reward.
