Side Note: Local viewer’s comments on Road 88 performance at the Laguna Town Hall

Michelle- "My family headed over to the Laguna Town Hall to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out that every Friday in August the Elk Grove Community Service District puts on a free events. There were jump houses for the kids, face painting and henna from Whimsy party production, lots of delicious pizza from The Rustic Pizza Company and how can I forget, great music. When I sat on the grass and looked up at the stage I saw two beautiful women getting ready to dance and sing. The microphone came on and the lead lady asked the crowd "How many of you like country music?" Only a few screams and claps came from the audience. "Well thanks for having us! If you don't like country, you just wait cause you will after the show!" They played there music and not even 5 minutes later people were up out of their seats dancing and singing to the music. I couldn't believe the energy that they had. It was like we all fed off of it like it was thanksgiving dinner. I felt as if I was at a big concert for famous celebrity. The only time I had ever been to a live performance was at the state fair when I was 10 years old and that did not even compare. When the music stopped and the band took a break I walked up to the lead singer Rachel Steele and asked her if I could do an interview with the group. She said of course, and I am so glad did because now I am able to share them with you."

David -"Friday night was the first time I had heard Road 88 before. I was pleasantly surprised by some good music and the band members that were interacting with the young kids that were near the stage. If they come back to town I would defiantly like to go see them again."

Stephanie- "I thought they were a bunch of fun, too bad they couldn’t play longer though, I could have listened to them all night!"

Mark- “The music was safe for my whole family and I wasn't afraid of what they would hear so that was a relief."
