Walk ’N Rock for Kids will be returning to West Sacramento’s Raley Field on Sunday for its third year, featuring a fundraising walk in the morning and concert in the evening, with rock band KISS headlining.
400 teams and 6,000 people participated in last year’s “walk” of Walk ’N Rock for Kids. There’s still time to sign up for this one.You can create a team or join an existing team. Sign up at walknrock.org.
Registration is at 7 a.m. Sunday at Raley Field.The walk starts at 8 a.m., leaves Raley Field and continues over Tower Bridge to the Capitol, then heads back to the ballpark. The route features local bands, activities and concludes with entertainment, food and fun.

The iconic rock band KISS will be performing at Raley Field Sunday evening with all proceeds benefiting local charities. Through Walk ’N Rock for Kids and similar fundraising events, Hope Productions Foundation has raised more than $1.5 million and supported 22 local charities making a difference in the lives of 51,000 local youth.
