Dancers Global is bringing together the international & local dancing community to share dance videos displaying passion and support for those affected by the tragic earthquake and tsunami disaster in Northeast Japan.

“We are asking dancers all over the world to put aside their differences and use their creative talents to show compassion for the victims of the tsunami and earthquake in Japan,” said Gabriel Thomas with Dancers Global. “We hope to really show an outpouring of support for the unfortunate victims through the art of dance.”

Much like the music industry has come together in the time of disaster and need; Dancers Global is working to rally the entire dance community all over the world. The Dance4Japan movement would provide a similar demonstration of support.

“We are really counting on the viral recognition of Dance4Japan to create awareness and concern for the people of Japan,” Thomas said. “We hope that fans of dance will contribute their talents to the relief efforts as part of the Dance4Japan movement.”

Dancers  that would like to participate in the Dance4Japan movement are asked to submit a short dance video with a message of hope in MP4 format to Dance4Japan@DancersGlobal.tv. If help is needed in submitting the video send any questions to Gabriel at info@dancersglobal.tv.

“We hope to get hundreds or thousands of videos from dancers all over the world starting with our hometown of Sacramento, showing support for Dance4Japan,” Thomas said. “The dance community is strong and together we will be a force to generate recognition of the relief efforts in Japanb through the art of dance.”
