This year de Vere's Irish Pub has decided to expand their St. Patrick's Day celebration by hosting two parties in one day.  Due to the crowds over the  past few years, de Vere's felt it would be better to create two parties so people could have better access to each venue and celebrate in style. de Vere's is hosting a Party in the Park with the Downtown Partnership, hoping to raise money for Maryhouse a local shelter for homless women and children, while providing a rock concert artomsphere in Caesr Chavez Park. This Party in the Park will host a large stage, enetertainment, local resturaunts, and about 4,000 possible new friends!  de vere's is still hosting a party at their Pub on 16th and L street in the Historic Firestone building, offering  it's guest a more traditional pub atmosphere with live entertainment, extended beer garden, and Irish dancers.

de vere's is enviting everyone to join them for a true Irish Pub experience on March 17th, asking everyone to go to Sacramento's one and only true Irish pub and enjoy authentic libations and fare from the motherland! de Vere's is owned by eight Irish family members that tirelessly endeavor to replicate that intimate pub experience for us Californian folk, and this St. Patrick's Day event will neither disappoint or bore you party-seeking, green-donning Guinness-downers. In fact, folks who attend will be singing this party's praises for years to come.

The pub will open its doors at an early 8 in the morn on March 17th, and will storm on until 1:30 am on March 18th. By 11am, an extended patio will shut down the adjacent sidewalks to make way for our one-day outside venue, which will feature a stage with live entertainment from 2:30pm till 9:30 pm, and corned beef and cabbage and time-honored Irish drinks will begin being served al fresco at noon. 2:30pm- Pipes and Drums
3:30pm- Kennelly School Dancers
4:30pm- Nine 8ths Irish
7:00pm- Kennelly School Dancers
8:30pm- Whiskey and Stitches

Attention all you pub goers, Please note that this event is all ages with no cover until 2pm, but after that time, we will begin taking ID to ascertain that all attendees are over 21, and will enact a cover charge of $10. Tickets for the pub party are also on sale now at Sac St. Pat's , if you're concerned about getting turned away from this certain-to-be-packed fete. We sincerely hope to celebrate St. Patricks' Day with you this year... slainte! No ins and outs will be permitted after 2pm.
