Friday, renowned multi-instrumentalist David Lindley is coming to Sacramento for a gig at Harlow's.

The longtime Jackson Browne collaborator and front man of El Rayo-X has been one of Hollywood's most sought-after session musicians.

Lindley has lent his talents to the recorded works of such musicians as Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt, Warren Zevon, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Ben Harper and many others.

From David Lindley.com: The David Lindley electro-acoustic performance effortlessly combines American folk, blues, and bluegrass traditions with elements from African, Arabic, Asian, Celtic, Malagasy, and Turkish musical sources. Lindley incorporates an incredible array of stringed instruments including but not limited to Kona and Weissenborn Hawaiian lap steel guitar, Turkish saz and chumbus, Middle Eastern oud, and Irish bouzouki.

You get all that?

Should be a heck of a show
