Sacramento, Calif.—Voyage Home Loans Team Goodness will be participating in the second annual Police Activities League’s Holiday Run on Saturday, December 11 in Rancho Cordova.

PAL is a youth crime prevention program that utilizes educational, athletic, and recreational activities to create a strong relationship between community youth and police officers. The Holiday Run event proceeds will help the PAL continue to offer free activities and programs to the youth of Rancho Cordova and they hope to fill up to four patrol cars with toys for children and youth.

Voyage Team Goodness will not only be participating in the run/walk for the event, but they have also raised hundreds of dollars to purchase new toys as a donation for the event’s toy drive. As a PAL partner, Voyage firmly supports the mission of the organization and is looking forward to the upcoming event.

“As a kid in San Jose, I participated in the PAL program and it helped shape who I am today,” said Voyage’s Chief Operating Officer Josh Harmatz. “The police officers and volunteers that make this program run are hero's and provide structure, fun, and discipline through sports. We are honored to be a donor for this great program.”

The general 5K and 10K races are scheduled to start at 9 am, with the kids’ races starting at 8:30 am. All races will be held in the Village Green Park area of Rancho Cordova.
