The pilot of this single engine plane escaped with minor injuries when his plane crash-landed in a field just north of Power Line Rd along Garden Highway, west of Sacramento Internation Airport,  this afternoon around 2pm. A propellor blade appears damaged and the plane is laying on its belly. At the scene details were sketchy regards the situation that caused the accident.

The plane is registered with the FAA as a Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft. The pilot's departure airport nor his final destination are not known.

Crews were at the scene repairing the electrical wires the plane clipped before coming to a stop in the field to the right of Garden Highway (road above the brown grass). Fire crews extinguished a small grass fire caused by the crash.

Any landing that you can walk away from is a good landing.
