Hustle and Flow – Will District 1 Candidate, Angelique Ashby, be hustled and go with the flow?

It’s been mentioned, on several occasions and several different articles, that District One candidate Angelique Ashby will be fair, will stand up against corruption, will be transparent and accountable.
Ashby is continuously praised, by supporters, for her ability to take no mess. But it’s appearing she has no problem being messy if it can get her into office.
One supporter, whose comment he later removed, basically assured us that Ashby will stand up and speak up against illegal activity, corruption…
Heck, I’m not so sure.
Last night I read the May 21, 2010 Sacramento News and Review blog entry “Ashby supporters can pull dirty tricks too”, written by SN&R political reporter Cosmo Gavin, http://www.newsreview.com/sacramento/snog/blogs#BlogPost-1428879, which causes me to again question Ashby’s ability to speak up against illegal activity or misconduct in city hall.
Gavin asks, “What’s worse, stealing campaign signs or stealing your opponent’s name?”
Heck, I think it’s worse to sit mute as your supporters and endorsers steal your candidates name, not to mention all the other dirty games played by several supporters and endorsers of her campaign.
I read Ashby supporter, Kevin Sharward’s, Sacramento Press article, “Signgate CoverUp Worse Than Crime”. http://www.sacramentopress.com/headline/24685/Tretheway_Signgate_2010_CoverUp_Worse_Than_the_Crime . It appears we’re beginning to see a double standard when it pertains to Cover-up’s. Since it appears Ashby will cover-up her mouth as supporters and endorsers run amok with dirty politics.
Continuously Sherward has made reference to “Signgate” but unfortunately the Sacramento community isn’t informed by Sharward of Cosmo Gavin’s gem of dirty politics played by Ashby supporters.
It’s concerning and disturbing for Ashby, a candidate we’re told over and over will stand up and speak out – is sitting mute.
Will Ashby go along with the flow when it pertains to dirty politics? Will Ashby’s model to get into office be by any means necessary; hook or crook? Will Ashby condone illegal activity as long as it benefits her?
To quote from the 2006 song, ‘It’s Hard out here for a pimp’ which won the Oscar for Best Achievement in Music for Motion Pictures Original Song in the movie Hustle and Flow; “You know it’s hard out here for a pimp when he trying to get this money to pay for the rent. For the Cadillac and gas money spent…”
Well, it appears in Sacramento, it’s hard out here for a candidate trying to get this money to get in office, for endorsement and dirty politics appears to cause some candidates to be hustled and to go with the flow.

My vote is Heck Yes!
We’re being hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, run amok as it appears District One candidate, Angelique Ashby, goes with the Hustle and Flow of dirty politics.

I think dirty politics is saying it mildly. For goodness sake a cat can have kittens in an oven but that don't make them biscuits. You can call it a tech savvy opponent taking advantage of a unprepared candidate but I call a spade a spade and Ashby's endorsers / supporter is taking advantage, underestimating and insulting our intelligence with this messy election.
Of course Tretheway wasn't prepared for this. Why would he be? I never would have expected a candidate to stoop so low especially knowing how the public is feeling about misconduct, illegal activity, transparency, and officials being bought and sold.
Perhaps Tretheway gave Ashby more credit than she deserves (which is why he wasn't prepared for this misconduct) whereas Ashby is trying to get in office by any means necessary - hook or crook.
I just don't get it; it really is plain ol common sense. Where there is smoke their is fire............. For goodness sake it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see their is something wrong with this formula....
And if at first I don't succeed then I'll try, try again.............. lol
Where's Batman? lol heck we need Batman, wonder woman, Robin, Ironman, Hulk, Superman, Zena warrior princess, Ninja turtles.... and a whole lot of characters to straighten out these characters..............

If yes, then it seems Ray is also going with the "hustle and flow" right? (Great movie by the way!). And if yes, then he's no better than anyone else hustlin and flowin to get elected right?
