I lived across the street and 1/2a block away on 22nd. I was told by a local in the neighborhood that in the late30's, possibley 1940's, a young girl threw herself out of the window onto the ground below, critically injuring herself and later dying. Above the porch , what I assumed to be the attic, I'd noticed the window portion was boarded up. As told to me, her father ran off her suitor, whom she was madley in love with, and to spite her father and end the torture of life without her lover she killed herself. Love this storyn I hope it's true..........

Colleen: You can probably find the pictures if you Google: Martinez House Paul Dale Roberts - this will link you to other sites that have pictures.

Also, there is not one place in Sacramento (that has a reputation of being haunted) that we haven't investigated. I have been on over 100 investigations.

Thanks for reading! Best, Paul.

Thanks for posting an article on the house on H and 22nd, I'm happy to hear that you've actually done an investigation on the house. Do you have the pictures of the orb that you took? I would love to see them. Also, it's great to hear your background as a writer. I didn't think you had only been a paranormal investigator, you seemed to have a lot more formal experience as a writer. The links to the Hart family were very useful. It's great to hear the history of buildings in Sacramento, even if they are urban legends or myths. Great article, Paul!
