I was told by a local in the neighborhood that in the late30's, possibley 1940's, a young girl threw herself out of the window onto the ground below, critically injuring herself and later dying. As told to me, her father ran off her suitor, whom she was madley in love with, and to spite her father and end the torture of life without her lover she killed herself.
