The International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT) Sacramento will present its annual IMAGiNE Showcase entitled “REBELution” on Thursday, April 29, 2010 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the California Automobile Museum.

This roaring 20s-themed event will feature fresh, new designs from 13 fashion design and marketing students, and will showcase displays from graphic and interior design students involved in a conference room redesign for Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California. With all three of IADT’s disciplines on display, the sheer glamor of the event is sure to be memorable for years to come.

Also joining the festivities is interior designer Matt Locke, who is the new spokesperson for SC Johnson's right@home® campaign with Walmart.® Known for transforming crisp, clean elements into beautiful, inviting spaces in a style he calls "warm modern," Locke continues to shape the design world, creating interiors, architecture and product prototypes all while lecturing widely on the history and current practice of design.

Locke's appearance as a contestant on HGTV's "Design Star" introduced the world to his dynamic design style, and he'll impart words of wisdom, his design philosophy and creative approach during the keynote address.

The community is invited to attend this special charity event!
