Storyline: Happenings around Sacramento
A forecast of 100% chance of precipitation proved correct about an hour after this was shot at 1:30 pm. A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 10 pm pst this evening, Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph gusts up to 30 mph this evening. Impacts: Travelers through the Sierra will encounter slick roads, including Interstate 80 and Highway 50. Expect travel delays and chain restrictions.

Agreed! Wouldn't it be interesting if y'all posted such photos prominently on your front page, a la the 'Inside" publications -- I know it's kinda copycat, (love her covers, but can't stand that she backed KJ for mayor) but your photo library must have some exquisite pieces -- perhaps even some sort of architectural retrospective of Sacramento's great buildings (I'm sure Mr. Burg would provide guidance, and of course, I would provide criticism...lol...)... But this photo and others you've shown are so beautiful -- it could be a wonderful iconographic symbol of this beautiful town if featured just a little bigger on your front page... I'm a sucker for creative imagery...
