My husband worked with the man who passed away in this accident and it has hit especially close to home for him. These technicians work long, hard hours and carry a tremendous amount of stress and liability. This man worked tirelessly in a thankless profession to provide for his family. Our deepest condolences are with his wife, child, and the one on way. They are in our thoughts and prayers.

I pulled up 10-15 seconds before this crash occured. Had my co worker and I not taken an extra minute or two out of our day this very well could have been him and me. When we pulled over there was 1 other person on the scene and it was the biggest reality check Ive ever had. My friend tried talking to the Dish Network Truck Driver while I frantically like others were calling the police. We waited and prayed for a outcome but unfourtatnly the wrong outcome happened and when the man was pulled out of the car ( In which the Sac Fire Department worked very fast to get him out with a serious of Drills, Saw,s and jaws of life) It seems he passed on. Its been hard to work all day because I cant get this out of my head. I pray tonight for both parties. I wont forget this as long as I live.

My boyfriend works with the man that died this morning. "I just talked to him this morning.." he told me. How close to home this feels. This reminds me to cherish the time I have in this world, and remember that nothing in life is a guarantee. My heart is with the family that grieves today. I am so sorry for your loss.
