Given Mr. Giarrizzo.s occupation as a campaign consultant, is this a campaign consultant's Press Release for a campaign he is involved with? The phone number would seem to imply that.

I'm glad legislators who have never been involved in the Sacramento community have endorsed a candidate who has never been involved in the Sacramento community.

Chris Garland is bringing fresh ideas to the table. That is exactly what Sacramento needs!

I think receiving endorsements from people who have actually been legislators before is a huge vote of confidence for voters, regardless of what district they represent. After all, they know how challenging the job is and whether a candidate is ready for that kind of a challenge.

Having a slimebag like Leland Yee endorse you is nothing I'd be bragging about.

Voters in Sacramento have generally not voted for someone based on endorsements of local former or current elected officials. How legislators from areas outside of Sacramento will convince local voters to vote on behalf of the "endorsed candidate" is beyond me. Even if I happen to like the elected official who has given an endorsement to a candidate, the candidate still need to make their case based on vision, record and understanding of the district. Um... Leland Yee, Fabian Nunez? Not!
