FRI 11/27 – SUN 1/3: St Rose of Lima Park Holiday Carnival includes daily carnival games, rides, food, and live music & entertainment. Admission is $7Gen/$6 Under12. More information on www.downtownsac.org/carnival.

WED 12/30 – 1/10 Broadway Sacramento will present Xanadu at The Community Center Theatre. TIX: $20-$57. Evening and Matinees.

Sacramento New Years Eve Sky Spectacular will feature an earlier show for the family and events beginning in Old Sacramento at 6PM with live music and entertainment. The first fireworks show will include special surprises for the kids with the Radio Disney Road Crew and begins at 9PM. Other entertainment includes a Jimmy Hendrix Tribute band, Rockin Blues & Pop bands, and fire dancers. The second fireworks show will begin at the stroke of midnight to ring in 2010!! Hotel Parties on NYE:

Hyatt Regency: Downtown Countdown in the downstairs lounge with DJ music and champagne tasting for $10. Dinner and overnight packages range from $99.00 – $179.00.

Sheraton Grand: Winter Electric Ball featuring a Bollywood themed party with hip hop and electronica for $35. Party packages also available that start with dinner, drinks, and your selection of VIP tickets to several Sacramento area nightclub parties, and a room that range from $50 - $300.

The Hilton Hotel in the Arden area will feature their 12th Annual Singels Party with Mercy Me & The Groove Thang, and DJ’s spinning your favorites. Casino, Champagne Fountains, and rooms for overnight stays from $120. Party is $65 ADV and $85 at the door.

The Radisson Hotel will present V 101.1 Old School R&B New Years Eve with The SOS Band, One Way with Al Husdon, Kurtis Blow, and DJ Gino is $67 at begins at 9PM. Party at Crocodiles is $20.00. Dinner and room packages are also available.
