As I was driving home last night on J Street at dusk, I noticed a beloved mural is once again not there.

I had a hunch why it is missing.

I checked with Stephanie Taylor, the artist, and sure enough, the wind on Saturday ravaged the recently re-applied mural. Apparently it wasn't stuck to the wall securely.

The wall is blank again (worse than this accompanying photo from earlier.)

And, so we shall keep our peepers focused on that blank wall once again!

wow was that the mural that resembles the painting that hangs on the staircase at the Crocker? the one with the good and bad miners?
