SCDS probably has financial aid--every private school I know of that isn't affiliated with a religious institution offers some sort of aid. And my friend who went to SCDS said that they try to be very open--they open their plays and such to the public, they allow outside groups to use their facilities, etc.

Now if the politics and incompetence of SCUSD staff had not encouraged Montessori to move out of its original location to Marshall School with poor research and false promises, and then compounded that by forcing it out of Marshall, the central city would finally have a full range of education opportunities--although Country Day is private.

Now watch Development Services give the school a hard time on the permit process and costs. After all, Country Day is not a developer.

This is such a postive development for Midtown. Schools are integral to healthy neighborhoods and we are so lucky to have Country Day School here. Now...let's get to work on getting another public high school in addition to the Met in Southside, into Midtown.
