Star Wars fans will be thrilled; non-fans will be amazed.

I fall into the latter camp. I saw the first film in 1977, on the day it came out, and enjoyed it. Since then, I’ve caught most of the other films, but remain underwhelmed. I just didn’t get it.

Friday night at ARCO Arena, I got it. “Star Wars in Concert,” a multimedia spectacular that aims to extend the life of the Star Wars franchise into live performance, delivered a dazzling spectacle that beautifully summarized the entire Star Wa...

Question for people who have attended...would you recommend this for a 4 year-old? He's a HUGE Star Wars Fan...has seen the original trilogy many times and Episode IV as well. Just not sure if this is geared for a kid that young.

Took my dad and 10 year old son...amazing educational experience for a 10 year old boy...to hear the live music of Star Wars that he loves. I only wish that more kids could be exposed to events like that. Empty seats should've been filled with kids...Also, dismayed by the fact that the cheapest souvenir was $20 and kids t-shirts $35. However, mom got serious points today! Fantastic show and memory with my son!

I went with Dave Park, Chris Macias (SacBee), and John Nelson (radio dude) and all the boys, It was light saberific. Plus, it drew twice as many people as The Killers. The best part was overhearing your fellow Star Wars fans geeking out on the memorbilia. There were some pretty great "fly on the wall" quotes. The symphony was phenomenal and making it utterly relevant, it essentially was a mash up. Girl Talk has nothing on Star Wars.
