FOLSOM, CA -- Tori Mason, the 2009 California Interscholastic Federation (Sac-Joaquin Section) 300 Meter hurdles track & field league champion, closed out her very successful first year of high school T&F competition by winning a gold medal at the adidas 50th Anniversary Golden West Invitational (GWI) Championships.

While faced off against Andrea Severson; (Pioneer Valley 300 Meter Hurdles League Champion), Heather Waldorf; (2009 Division Two North Sacramento 300 Meter Hurdles League Champion), Dominique Corley; (2007 CIF State Meet participant in the  4 x 400 meter relay), Katie Barton; (2009 CIF State Meet participant in the 4 x 400 meter relay), and Kody Atkins; (2 time 2009 NSCIF Division 1 League Champion and 2009 CIF State Meet participant in both the 400 and 800 meter race events), Tori posted a time of 47.11 seconds in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles – B Section race, and won first place (see the results just below).
