A closing sign was set out last week to send word that Tasha Preston is closing her global bazaar known as "Tasha's." Since then, friends and customers have been dropping by to pay their respects to the nomadic spirit who brought back pieces of the world.

    <summary type="text">it looks as if she was to move... close many moons ago,&#xD;
i also know Tasha, and was a wholesaler of most of her Unique items&#xD;
i have ben brings Unique things to tasha for 12 yrs now.( i am a importer)&#xD;
Tasha has left me with a bounced ck in the amount of 1,000 and another 4,000 in invatory she will not return, i even see some of it in this blog so yes it hurts me to see her go&#xD;
i will never get my Treasures back, nor be payed.&#xD;
Tasha if you are a child of God then please do right and give me my things back.&#xD;
what i dont understand is you knew me and your Mother were friends, and you still did to me what you did.&#xD;

    <summary type="text">This is a very unfortunate situation to hear about. My mom has worked at the building next to Tasha's for nearly 11 years and I remember walking through her store all the time when I was younger and marveling at all of the unique things. I wish her luck, and I'm sorry to see her go.</summary>

    <summary type="text">I'm sorry to hear this. As a business owner I know it's really hard these days. And the state's budget fiasco hasn't helped. Anyway I remember a few winters ago I had just arrived back into town after living in Southeast Asia and I was very cold and Tasha gave me a strong drink to warm my body and spirit. I don't know her and was not a regular customer but I always remembered her act of kindness and could sense in a moment that she was one of those all too rare people who had realized some of life's deeper truths. Tasha I hope your next journey brings you even greater rewards!</summary>
