We at the Sacramento Press have already spent several hundred words poking and prodding you readers to imbibe in the blood-soaked, cleavage-filled, heavy-metal hilarity that is the Trash Film Orgy. Now, we have escalated to drastic measures and must insist that you attend the last TFO screening of the season Saturday at the Crest Theatre -- at the stroke of midnight.

If you have ever yelled at your television, scoffed at overacting, jeered at cornball love scenes, marveled at excessive violen...

Pretty amazing things going on at the Crest. I went to the last show with some friends and we had a great time. I was surprised how professional the folks that put on show are. It seems that most of the actors they hire are in comedy troupes, stand-up, or local film actors. I even got a picture with the sexy chick from Monster from Bikini Beach. Score!

He's not the only celebrity guest at a TFO--legendary director Ray Dennis Steckler did an in-theater appearance at the showing of "Rat Pfink A Boo Boo" a few years back, and two weeks ago director Jim Wynorski introduced his 1985 classic "Chopping Mall" in person!

I believe it was combined with a book tour, 'If Chins Could Kill.' Campbell loves mixing it up with the fans anyhow and is something like an insult comic in person. I met the guy when I was in high school - he signed my yearbook.

Man, bummed I'm going to be in L.A. for the last one. This sounds like so much fun! How did they lure Bruce Campbell from his presumably pimped out pad to appear in 2001?
