Hey parents, wondering how to keep your little beasts - er, I mean children - busy for the rest of the summer?

Let your free-range kids explore Artbeast, a newly opened art studio for the little ones in midtown Sac.

It's full of art exploration rooms and loads of classes.

Kids can really dig into the arts. An ArtBeast monthly

membership offers unlimited time in the open studio and

arts exploration rooms, and one or two weekly arts classes.

Let 'em get their feet muddy.

And their hands, too!

They'll love it. Really!

They can sing and mess around playing somebody else. Dramatic play spaces

change monthly so children can explore the creation of story lines with ever

changing scenery, props, costumes, and puppets.

The can even make believe as puppeteers.

Or play hide and seek from their playmates.

Work out their frustrations on the heavy duty clay.

Lots of beads for necklaces.

Artbeast is a great way for parents to interact with the young ones  - the

paint is unlimited!

Mini-sized easels for the little Picasso wanna-bes.

Some like to wash away the paint that others put on.

Did we say there'is unlimited paint?

Bring your little beasts to Artbeast for dance, yoga, storytelling, singing, Spanish, visual arts, music, movement, and dramatic arts.

The paint never runs out, the clay is always ready to be molded or pounded, the drums played and mud walked in!

Every dime given to Art Beast directly supports and sustains Tubman House, a nonprofit that serves young, homeless parents and their children.
Tubman House is a free, 18 month transitional living program for Sacramento's homeless, parenting youth. At Tubman House, youth experience dynamic coursework, community support, counseling and healthy living so that they leave prepared to be leaders in their own lives and the lives of their communities.

Artbeast is located at 2226 K St., midtown Sacramento.

I absolutely love all of these photos! I think it worked well to weave them throughout your story, as well. Thanks, Kati!
